Go Tristan!! 🎉⭐️

Meet Tristan. Tristan is in Ms. Harris’ 2nd grade class, and he read and tested on more books than any other student in our school during the month of September: 80 books! That’s right! EIGHTY!!!!! In ONE month!!!!!!!

Tristan’s percent correct average is an impressive 90%! He earned 36.7 points, just in September! 54% of his books were nonfiction, and reading and testing on nonfiction is more challenging than fiction.

This stack of books next to Tristan shows just how many books he read in September! I think it’s safe to say that TRISTAN IS A READER!!!!!! 📕 📖 📚

Oh where the gift of storytelling can take you! 🎥💫

Here’s a little snippet of a project that chronicled the life of Kevin Peterman, a New Jersey native known for his powerful voice, community leadership, and event coordination.

It premiered at his annual Family & Friends event in Newark, New Jersey.
