This is one of those moments you don’t keep quiet.

On May 5, I will be presented with a city proclamation in Dothan, Alabama recognizing Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.

For over 10 years, I’ve lived with fibromyalgia learning what it means to navigate daily life while managing pain that isn’t always visible.

This recognition is bigger than me.
It represents every thriver pushing through, showing up, and building a life while managing chronic illness.

Awareness matters. Understanding matters. Being believed matters.

May 12 is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.
And now, that recognition is being acknowledged right here in Dothan.
