Sometimes courage looks like rest.
Like standing at the edge of the water…
feet in the sand,
breath finally slowing,
heart remembering it’s safe.
This spring, Ain’t That Good is honored to host the Courage Rest Retreat in partnership with —a space created for women to pause, breathe, and let God meet them right where the waves settle.

We’re also grateful for our retreat sponsor Seek First Resources, whose tools help women stay anchored in truth long after the retreat ends.

You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to know anyone.
You just have to come.
Because courage isn’t always charging forward—
sometimes it’s trusting God enough to stop.

If “Ain’t That Good” had a cover photo, this might be it.
Proof that life gets a little wilder—and a lot sweeter—when you’re raising kids, chasing chickens, and laughing way harder than planned. This is the kind of ordinary chaos that reminds us: joy doesn’t have to be polished to be holy… or hilarious.
From the woods to the mic, we’re here for the stories that make you stop and say, “Ain’t that good?”

Snow wasn’t on the forecast for most of us, especially in AR—but grace rarely is. It just shows up. Quietly. Unexpectedly. Covering ordinary ground with wonder.
This snowfall from AR feels like a reminder that God’s grace doesn’t always come through big, planned moments. Sometimes it drifts in when we’re not looking, settles where we didn’t expect it, and changes the whole atmosphere.
Pause. Breathe. Receive what you didn’t know you needed.
Ain’t That Good — noticing unexpected grace in everyday life.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
As we step into 2026, we’re not rushing ahead — we’re listening.
Listening for the word God is inviting us to carry this year.

Surrender. Praise. Risk.

Share your word for 2026 in the comments and let’s walk it out together.

Merry Christmas everyone! Today we celebrate out loud, openly, but there is something unmatched about being alone, tucked away with Him. Don’t miss it today, don’t miss it tomorrow, don’t miss it for years to come.
For unto us our Savior is born, Christ the King!

The Christmas story of Tonya’s tree this year!

This tree feels like a quiet sermon standing in your living room.

Rooted firmly, reaching upward, wrapped in light—just like our faith. Every ornament tells a story of grace layered over time, reminders that God meets us in ordinary moments and turns them into something holy. The lights whisper of Christ, the Light of the World, shining steadily in the darkness. The natural tones and handmade details echo creation itself, pointing back to the Creator who chose humility, not spectacle, to enter the world.

At the center of Christmas isn’t what’s under the tree, but what came into the world: Emmanuel—God with us. May this tree be a reminder that hope still rises, joy still shines, and love still came down.

What’s the story of your Christmas tree and how does it reflect your life of desired life with Christ?
