State of Alabama vs. COLEY MCCRANEY
Preliminary hearing

04/20/2016

Please listen and share this video presentation.
Personally, I can understand why many people would be reluctant to become actively involved in the movement against Injustice, especially when it comes to filming police officers, becoming a witness in cases where the police have abused their authority, etc. But we all have a moral obligation to step up to the plate and help protect one another from being mistreated. Of course that sometimes comes with a heavy cost because the last thing these corrupt "cops" want to see is someone standing around with a camera in hand while their beating, tackling and tazing people damn near to death. Yet that's exactly what's needed to be sure their held accountable. Even then we've seen them lose, alter and destroy evidence. Such as the way D.P.D. claimed they couldn't produce the video footage taken of my encounter with the "Posse". Although I was brutally attacked by (6) heavily armed, undercover narcotic agents I was charged with Assault on a Police officer.
In this public speech I addressed Honorable Pat Jones (newly elected D.A. of Houston County) and expressed the concerns most of have with over zealous and abusive policemen in the community. Mr. Jones agreed that he would seek to eliminate that type of behavior once he's in office. Now that he's been elected we intend to remind him of those campaign promises. We have plenty of video footage to refresh his memory.

Update: This video (recorded on April 16, 2016) shows the Dothan Police Department officers subdue, taze and apprehend an unarmed black man. D.P.D. has issued an erroneous statement declaring the man discharged a weapon while being chased by the two officers. Yet there was no gun recovered from the scene. Clearly a gunshot can be heard in this video which appears more likely to have came from one of the officers in pursuit. Because they bore the only guns visible in the video.
Solutions for Justice has confirmed the person arrested did not suffer from a gunshot. Please continue to stay tuned for more details and updates.
