GOSPEL MUSIC LEGEND, BILL GAITHER ANNOUNCES CITIES FOR 2025 HOMECOMING CHRISTMAS TOUR

Alexandria, IN – For nearly half a century, multi-Grammy and Dove Award winner, Bill Gaither has been a musical trailblazer. His reputation as a performer, songwriter and mentor for newly-discovered artists is known world-wide. His beloved Homecoming Series has consistently topped sales charts and attracted an ever-increasing audience.

The 89-year-old music mogul continues to tour regularly, presenting over 40 concerts annually, and for 30 years, he has been bringing Christmas concert events each holiday season to cities nationwide. As the 2025 holiday season rolls around, the legendary recording artist makes plans to present an exciting, festive, Christmas celebration during December. The Gaither Homecoming Christmas Tour includes concert events in eight cities that will feature Gaither’s own multi-award winning group, The Gaither Vocal Band!

Taking the stage with the Gaither Vocal Band will be multi-talented singer/songwriter/speaker and former Vocal Band alumni Mark Lowry. Other popular artists who will be featured on The Gaither Homecoming Christmas Tour include multi-award winning duo, Jeff & Sheri Easter, renown musical family, The Hoppers, popular female vocalists, Lynda Randle, Angela Primm and Ladye Love Smith, and talented male vocalists, Woody Wright and Gene McDonald, as well as newcomer phenom and former The Voice winner, Chris Blue. Gaither’s musical entourage, comprised of Kevin Williams, Matthew Holt and Michael Rowsey, will also add musical delight to each evening.

Many of you know that Christy had to undergo emergency surgery last Wednesday evening after we rushed her to the ER with unrelenting and severe abdominal pain. The doctors discovered an intestinal obstruction that required immediate surgery to prevent a rupture or perforation that could have quickly become life-threatening.

Thanks be to God, the surgery was successful, though necessarily invasive, to repair her small intestine. Now, nearly a week later, after very little food and only small amounts to drink, Christy remains in the hospital as her doctors carefully monitor her progress before releasing her to continue recovery at home.

From the bottom of our hearts — and I know I speak for Christy as well — we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, messages, and encouragement we’ve received here on our social media platforms and through texts and phone calls. You have sincerely touched our hearts.

Most of all, we ask for your continued prayers: that Christy’s healing will be swift, her strength will return, and she will soon be able to eat and process food again without difficulty.

Thank you again for standing with us during this time. We love and appreciate each of you!

We honor the life of Denver Dale Crumpler (August 17, 1912 - March 21, 1957)
The consummate professional, Denver Crumpler added great dignity to Southern Gospel Music whenever he stepped onto the stage.

Born in Magnolia, Arkansas, Crumpler apprenticed with area quartets before joining the Stamps Melody Boys in the mid-1930s. In 1938, he joined the Rangers Quartet and helped build that quartet into one of the most popular groups in the nation by the late 1940s-contributing both his distinctive Irish tenor voice and often accompanying the group on guitar.

In early 1953, he joined the Statesmen Quartet and was responsible for adding the “finishing touches” to that legendary group’s sound. He is still regarded as one of the finest tenor singers of all time.

He was inducted into the SGMA Hall of Fame in the original class of 1997.
