2Baba Reacts to Rumors of His Arrest in the UK

Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia has reacted to viral claims that he was arrested in the UK following an alleged altercation with his wife, Natasha.

According to reports, the couple arrived in the UK on Thursday, October 2, ahead of his UK tour — but rumors quickly spread that 2Baba was detained by police after an argument with Natasha, with some even alleging that “bottles flew” during the incident.

However, 2Baba has now denied the arrest claims.
He explained that he missed his scheduled performance not because of an arrest, but due to a medical emergency that required urgent attention.

The singer, who recently turned 50, assured fans he is fine and thanked everyone for their concern.

Prince William Speaks Out

Prince William has made rare comments about his brother, Prince Harry — touching on their rocky relationship, his royal legacy, and what kind of future he wants for his son, Prince George.

During a new interview on Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler, William reflected on how he and Harry “had to grow up with certain practices in the past” — a subtle nod to their painful upbringing under royal traditions and media pressure.

“I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do,” he said.
“That’s caveated with — I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past that Harry and I had to grow up with.”

William also spoke about passing on a more compassionate and modern monarchy to his eldest son:

“Change is good — but I don’t want overly radical change. I just want change for good.”

While he didn’t directly mention reconciliation with Harry, his tone suggested a desire to learn from the past and build a legacy rooted in empathy and responsibility.

Family wahala 😪
Yesterday someone called me asking for help. I told the person I’ll send something later, but when I mentioned the amount, they started laughing at me. Some family members truly believe you owe them, no matter your own responsibilities.

This entitlement behavior is draining. Helping is by choice, not by force. Nobody should be shamed for what they can genuinely give.

Boundaries are important. If you can assist, do it from the heart. If not, no one has the right to make you feel less.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Reacts to Viral Video of NURTW Directives in Lagos

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Labour Party’s 2023 Lagos State governorship candidate, has reacted to a trending video allegedly showing members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) declaring opposition parties as “enemies of President Tinubu” and warning their members not to work with them.

Sharing the video on his X handle this evening, Rhodes-Vivour wrote:
“ Violence is the last refuge of incompetence.”

He accused the NURTW of urging its members to attack, disrupt, intimidate, and harm opposition gatherings in Lagos, recalling similar incidents at his campaign events in Alimosho and Ajeromi.

According to him, after 24 years of APC control in Lagos, the ruling party has “no record to campaign on,” resorting instead to intimidation while their leaders “send their children abroad to enjoy good governance.”

He further warned that opposition voices cannot be silenced by threats:
👉 “Let it be known that we are not intimidated… When this movie starts you will quickly realise we are the many, you are the few. Àwa náà ò kéré, awa gan ò dúró lásán. Ẹrù ìjà kò bá wá.”

Deserted House of Worship

This is St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Orsumoghu, once a thriving place of worship in Anambra State.

In 2021, violence linked to “unknown gunmen” forced the entire community to flee. For years, fear and insecurity left the church and much of the local government area deserted.

Residents recount how:
• Families abandoned their homes to save their lives.
• The army remained stationed at the outskirts, while gunmen controlled the inner communities.
• For nearly four years, church services stopped entirely.

Today, St. Mary’s stands as a sad reminder of the heavy toll insecurity has taken on ordinary people and their faith.

May peace return so that worship and community life can be restored again.

Big Relief for LAUTECH Hospital Security Guards

Luck smiled on security guards at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, as Governor Seyi Makinde approved a huge salary increase from ₦18,800 to ₦80,000 monthly.

The development came after one of the guards boldly spoke up during the governor’s interactive session at the hospital on September 30.

“We are suffering. I have a family with three children. Please help us,” the guard lamented, revealing that they earn only ₦18,800 monthly without benefits since they were outsourced by a private firm.

Governor Makinde immediately ordered:
Termination of the hospital’s security outsourcing contract
Conversion of all 67 security guards into ad-hoc staff
New monthly salary of ₦80,000 effective October 1
