🚨 EARTHQUAKE CONFIRMED — DOUGLAS, AZ / AGUA PRIETA, SONORA
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has confirmed an earthquake occurred early this morning in the Douglas, Arizona–Agua Prieta, Sonora border region.

📍 Earthquake origin Location: Agua Prieta, Sonora area
🕐 Time: Approximately 2:57 a.m. MST
🌎 Region: Arizona–Sonora border

Felt to Elfrida possibly further?

Residents throughout the area reported feeling the ground shake, and reports are continuing to come in.

Earthquake Alert, Did you just feel the ground shake?‼️‼️

Possible earthquake in the Douglas, Az-Agua Prieta, Sonora area around 2:57 AM.

According to google no official reports have been made at this time.

However earthquake monitoring systems are estimating a 4.2 magnitude about 28Km east of Douglas, Az & APSON. Which is right around the Cerro Gallardo. Our local volcano‼️‼️

‼️Strong winds from last nights storm caused a tree to fall over‼️

Last night around 10:15 a very strong storm rolled into town bring heavy winds and strong rainfall, we got reports of a tree fallen over at the 3rd street Park in Douglas, Az.

Did anyone else see or have anything that was damaged due to the storm? ⛈️

- Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... South Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
- Until 930 PM MST.
- At 826 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Douglas, moving northwest at 10 mph.

Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
