This has proven to work better for both you & us - as it SAVES YOU shipping costs, and saves us the fees that Amazon charged (and kept increasing). A few weeks ago I stopped by Senator Barrasso's office in Casper (he wasn't in) and gifted him a set of our "The Living Wyoming" books - never expecting to hear from him, but knowing how much he enjoys non-fiction & historical publications covering our great state. Well, guess what came in today's mail?! Awesome!! Thank you so much Senator Barrasso for your kind words!! 😊

As you've seen in earlier posts - effective today, we will no longer be marketing The Living Wyoming collection through Amazon. Their fees have raised to the point where we end up selling under our cost. That's the price we pay for committing to having our books printed here in the states at a quality printing company that was willing to handle the small volume we could afford. Just to put things in perspective - for high quality color reproduction on heavy weight paper here in the states, we pay an average of $24/book!! IF we wanted to have substandard color reproduction on lighter weight (with kind of smelly paper/ink) paper printed in China - we could have paid under $7/book. PLEASE feel free to contact us directly on our e-mail ([email protected]) and we can make arrangements to ship books anywhere in the U.S. We thank everyone for your continued support!! 😊

While "The Living Wyoming" isn't going away - we'll no longer be marketing our 4 book series on Amazon after March 31st. The increased fees & handling charges now have us losing quite a bit on each & every book, or set, that we sell. Beginning April 1st, PLEASE feel free to contact us by e-mail at: "[email protected]" to arrange your purchases. We'll still be able to ship very quickly - we just need to at least break even on all future sales.
Starting around the first of May, I'll be traveling around the state donating sets of the books to high school libraries. We will not be taking any tax breaks for this, as the entire Living Wyoming Project was always meant to be a labor of love for our spectacular state!!
