It's time to Celebrate!!!

During the month of June, Douglas Broadcasting's Dennis Switzer was inducted into the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters' Hall Of Fame.

Switzer was also named Wyoming's Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association!

We'll celebrate these two career honors with an Open House at the Douglas Broadcasting studios at 247 North Russell Street in Douglas on Thursday, July 31st, from 11 AM til 2 PM.

Buckle up...

⚠️❄️ 4PM 3/4 - Another storm system is headed to our area for late Wednesday night through early Friday morning. Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall and areas of blowing snow are possible in the Winter Storm Watch area highlighted in the map. Confidence in snow impacts for these areas is medium to high at this time.

Snow impacts may extend further south also, but uncertainty is higher for the I-80 corridor at this time. Check back for more updates to come!

Lost a good friend...

"It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Sports Director, Tim Hurst.

Tim first put on the headset in 1986. His lively commentary was heard by Trailblazer fans for almost 40 years - including 4 State Championships. As the Voice of the Blazers, Tim earned several awards from the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters for his work as a play-by-play announcer. He put his heart into his work, and that was evident in every broadcast.

Tim also headed up our Sports Department, sharing results and scores from across the Cowboy State. He had a strong connection with our local student-athletes, coaches, referees, fellow broadcasters, parents, fans, and anyone else who shared his love for High School Activities.

Our prayers are with both victims' families, and with all of those who Tim had the pleasure of meeting.

Go Blazers! Go Jayhawks! We love you Tim."
