I was first introduced to recording when one of my first bands went into the studio to record our demo with a long time family friend. as a young kid in high school I was fascinated by the experience and was completely inspired to start making records with other bands. I bought my first four track cassette recorder and a few SM57s and started recording demos for my own p

rojects and a few of my friends out of my parents garage. I later "upgraded" to a couple of ADAT machines and bought my first console and went on to record my first couple of "real" releases in the summer of 2005. From there on, I've been making records with bands ranging from Punk, Hardcore, Metal, Indie and Emo to Folk and Hip Hop. Making unique, artistic recordings with independent artists has always been my goal and I'm lucky to have met so many great artists along the way.

I know, more of the same, but my ceiling is (almost) done. I decided last minute to hand strip the red paint off the exposed beams instead of just painting them. It was an insane amount of work but now that they're sealed, I'm psyched I did it. Can't wait to mix in here!

I honestly don't remember much about working on this one, as it was tracked during such a tumultuous time in my life...but i do remember drums were tracked in Studio A of (RIP) and the rest in my beloved B Room...then mixed at my house, like a year later...followed by yet another amazing master by Dan .

(Side note: Can't wait to get back tracking new records this year!)

I love this record and the people involved, so go take a listen!
