Seven years ago, I met my best friend. Six years ago, we decided it was time to start writing our love story together and tie the knot. Today we’re celebrating our sixth anniversary. I couldn’t ask for a better partner, she puts up with a lot between my hobbies and side quests. But we’re always working towards the same goal of finding some peace and quiet, new places to let the dogs roam wild and trying some sweet treats along the way with a hot cup of coffee next to a campfire to end the day. Here’s to many more milestones, chapters and new adventures ahead.

Every road trip and adventure starts the same way, shifting out of park and into drive. If you’re looking to shift gears in style, checkout my friends at .made.co and their line of billet aluminum shift k***s and transfer case k***s & dials. The fitment and finish is solid, they’re made in the USA, and these upgrades only take a few seconds to complete. They also feature a magnetic cap on the shift k***s and dials to match your build or represent some awesome brands. I’ve been running now for a couple of months and love the feel over the OEM and TRD shift k**b. Actually, they look so good I’m thinking about redoing my interior to match. Thanks to TrailMade for sending this set out, I’m definitely a fan.

The Ford F-150 Tremor just got a lighting upgrade. We believe in uncompromising power and reliability in this house of mods. That’s why I’m now running a set of Baja Designs Squadron Sport ditch lights on the Tremor. Previously I was running an old set of Diode Dynamics SSC2 Pro’s, but I was severely let down by the output on them. At $340 and an advertised 3,140 lumens, the performance was seriously lacking in the real world use when it came to punching through the darkness. Where as the Baja Squadron’s pack 3,150 lumens and dual beam patterns on these driving combo lenses, you get two focused spot beams and two wide angle lenses in each light. They absolutely dominate compared to the lights they’re replacing, and are backed by a lifetime warranty. I’ve been rocking a set as fog lights on my 4Runner for 6 years and they’ve been through many water crossings without a hiccup. Did I mention the Baja’s only cost around $260?!? These are absolutely the best entry light on the market. Plus you can swap lenses anytime with the U-Service program. Allowing you to customize them to your needs and mounting location without risk of voiding your warranty.

Dust Covers Shoot & Fundraiser for at the Governors Gun Club. Part 2. Teams took part in an epic competition shoot along side Green Berets and helped raise funds benefiting my favorite non profit, Second Chance K9. Teams competed in pistol, PCC, rifle and shotgun, followed by dinner together and a toast to our Special Forces Soldiers. Awards were presented, Matt Roger’s sang live music for everyone and we heard some incredible stories of how these dogs have saved lives not just on the battlefield, but here at home. More to follow. Huge thanks to the participants, and everyone who made this event possible. Second Chance K9 is a rescue organization that pairs high drive rescue dogs (Belgian Malinois) with Special Operations Veterans who suffer from PTSD or TBI. This very focused program places dogs who thrive on having a job, with veterans who desperately need a purpose. Founded by Special Forces Veteran and former Special Forces dog handler Travis Hall, Second Chance K9 has evolved from Hall’s own experience with Bear, a dog who was deployed four times to Iraq. Your tax-deductible donation to Second Chance K9 could be the key to saving not one, but two lives. Visit www.secondchancek9.com
