Have you ever stayed club level at Walt Disney World?

Pictured below is the beautiful lounge at the Polynesian when my family stayed here last month and experienced staying club level for the first time.

We were huge fans! This is a great option if you have a hungry family that constantly needs to eat! My kids loved being able to run a few doors down to the lounge and grab snacks to go. My favorite part was the unlimited Mickey ice cream bars and tropical cocktails! There were plenty of delicious food options for everyone, even those of us in the family with food allergies. Another awesome perk was being able to view the Happily Ever After fireworks from the comfort of the lounge while eating desserts, as the show’s soundtrack was played through the speakers. For us, it was totally worth it.

Club level exists in all deluxe resorts, plus the Gran Destino Tower. Ask me to price out club level for your next WDW trip….you might be surprised with the value you can get with this upgrade!

I normally try to share as much as possible on my business page during my travels, but I wanted to be fully present with my family for our big trip at the beginning of this month. Now that things have calmed a bit and I’m (almost) caught up on everything at home, time for a recap! This was a BIG trip for us that I began planning a year and a half ago, filled with bucket list check marks and many firsts for us as well. It was also a last hurrah for summer break— what a way to go out with a bang!

We stayed club level at the Polynesian for 4 nights, which is our favorite Disney resort. Staying club level was so WORTH IT for us! We took advantage of visiting Blizzard Beach for free on our check in day. My daughter and I got in-room makeovers from Bounding Beauty, which we have been wanting to do for years, and we all experienced Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time. The fireworks and the Hocus Pocus show at the party were incredible! We park hopped for 2 days, enjoying the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, and checked out all the new shows at Hollywood Studios. We had many excellent meals during our time at WDW, including some of my personal favorites: breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, dinner at Garden Grill in Epcot, and the Cake Bake Shop on the Boardwalk.

We then checked into the all new Helios Grand Hotel at Universal’s Epic Universe for the next 4 nights. We had a great time hitting our favorite attractions in the legacy parks with low wait times… can we say Velocicoaster 3 times back to back? And we of course soaked up all the sun and waves we could at Volcano Bay! Then we got to experience the thrill of walking out the back door into Epic Universe for the first time. Taking advantage of early park entry and armed with Express Passes, we completed nearly every single attraction in the park within 13.5 hours, making it the most EPIC day we’ve ever had! During our time at Universal, we had some amazing meals at some of our favorite restaurants: Vivo Italian Kitchen in City Walk, The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley (which is always a family favorite) and loved trying The Blue Dragon Pan Asian Restaurant inside Epic…plus alllll the Butterbeer we could pack in our tummies obviously!

I will spare you the thousands of photos I took during our adventure and only share a few highlights.

Making priceless memories with my family is my first and foremost priority when planning mega vacations like this, but I also try to experience as much as possible in order to better serve my clients. In just two more days my family and I will be experiencing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time! I am so excited to share it with you!

We are all dressing up as Disney characters….any guesses as to what our costumes are? I will give you a hint….3 of us are representing attractions that Walt himself had a hand in creating. Two of us are representing a newer attraction at Epcot.
