Officer Justin Hi everyone, my name is Justin Malueg. I currently work as a full-time Police Officer in Poynette, WI and a part-time Police Officer in Shiocton, WI.

1. To share out important information happening in our communities.
2. To share positive, heart-warming, and inspiring stories in law enforcement.
3. Advocate for Highway Safety
4. Advocate for Mental Health & Drug & Alcohol Addiction
5. Stand up for what's right - even if it's not the popular opinion
6. To put PEOPLE over POLITICS. (Especially in Law Enforcement)

UPDATE 6/24/26: The banner has been returned. After my post garnished some attention, one of the owners contacted the Sheriffs Office to return it to me.

I had obtained permission 2 years in a row to place a banner there. After it went missing, I even stopped and talked with the owner (who took it down) and she agreed that I had permission and didn't know what happened to it. It's after I file a complaint, is when she provided it to deputies.

Question? This shouldn't be a big deal. People change their minds on who to support all of the time. Why not just call, text, message me, something?? Instead of lying about it. I will never get upset at you. I get messages from people all the time who are afraid of being harassed by Sheriff Wilz for showing their support for me. It's ok, I don't take offense whatsoever. Life goes on.

Manawa/Symco Area: Theft Complaint Filed

Within the last week, I had one of my nice banners stolen from the Symco Thresheree Grounds off of Highway 22.. and of course the Re-elect Wilz sign remains untouched. I filed a complaint with the Sheriffs Office last night and they are investigating. If you have any information on this, please contact the Sheriffs Office at 715-258-4466 or send a tip to my messenger.

We knew from the beginning they weren't going to play fair.. especially with still being harassed and defamed after more than 2 years of not being with the Sheriffs Office - but stealing my banner? COMMON. (It doesn't stop there either - I've had several landlords threaten eviction to their tenants for having my sign in front of their apartment.)

I've taken the time out of my busy schedule, and in my heart, to write a letter to the suspected criminal:

Dear THIEF:

It is because of you and supporters like yourself why Waupaca County is going to get major change in November. Positive change. The more that this disgusting behavior, along with the harassing, bashing, and threatening, occurs, the more people see the true colors of our "leadership" here in Waupaca County. Keep it up... my team, my supporters, my family, and I are going to keep working that much harder to make Waupaca County a better place to visit, play, and live - for EVERYONE☺️🙏🏽.

Segment 6: Brady Issues - part 1

Where did this all start? Were reports really altered? Did Sheriff Wilz actually fire the whistleblower? Why were the Sheriff, Chief Deputy, and Detective Captain all placed on the Brady list?

As your next Sheriff, I will install positive change so that stuff like this never happens to any employee ever again.

Segment 5: Does treating people like human beings, even when they mess up, help society?

This has been an issue in policing for as long as I've been in policing. Some of the things I've heard citizens, officers (supervisors!), and others say:

"I'm not wasting my Narcan on him/her."
"They are just attention seeking."
"Why don't they just do it already!"

Everyone deserves a second chance and if elected as your next Sheriff, that is the mentality our entire department will have toward our community members.

I get contacted by a lot of community members who are going through the criminal justice system - and that gets construed as "Look at Justin's supporters!" "He sure hangs out with the wrong crowd!" Be mindful when you see these same people commenting on my posts... these people are part of the problem that needs fixing. Some people have messed up and just want to live a better life, get sober, and move on as a functioning member of our society. There is nothing wrong with having people like that in your corner🙏🏽💙

Are Deputies sitting on bars? I get asked this question pretty often.

Regardless of promises being made to our local bars and establishments, I have seen this happen throughout the years, even by supervisors. I agree.. it shouldn't be happening. There is SO much more we can do so our businesses can thrive, but yet everyone can stay safe as well!

If I'm elected, I will work with all of our bars & establishments to ensure they have the proper training and resources available to them and their customers. Together we can save a life!

I had a great time helping FML Discount Grocery raise money for New London flood victims by getting dunked this past weekend - and yes... I'm still a kid at heart and hopped in the foam pit with the kiddos!
