-Do the research!

-Make all your social accounts 1 Name/Band Name! (Spelled the same way everywhere).

-Get LLC in your Artist name/Band Name
-Get E.I.N. from IRS
-Open business bank account and fund it.
-Convert Socials to Business Account (*very important step)
-Create an E.P.K (Electronic Press Kit): THIS IS YOUR RESUME!

-Network DAILY! On Twitter, IG, & FB.
Find Club, Radio, College, & Podcast DJ 's. Connect with them!!

-Get a Selfie Stick/Tripod combo

-Make the music. (You see how making the music didn't come 1st?? PAY ATTENTION!!)
*Record clips from recording sessions, store runs, Literally anything in your daily routine! Schedule Posts Daily!

-Save money for your MONTHLY marketing budget (FB & IG Ads, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads, Billboards, etc). Break it down to a weekly or biweekly budget (how ever often you get paid from work). Minimum $35/Week ($5/day for ads).

-Budget & Plan Music Videos. ( notice how Music Videos are towards the middle/end of the list of things to do.

-MORE NETWORKING! (Raise awareness of your upcoming projects)

-SET A SCHEDULE!

-Organize your Release Campaign Schedule (4-6 weeks Pre-release Promo & Ads, & 4-6weeks Post Release Promo and Ads)

- ISSUE PRESS RELEASE! (In blogs, magazines, as well as on the radio). THEY'RE FREE!!

-Follow The Data!! (From Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, FB & IG Insights, Your Distributor, etc).

-Use data to Target MORE Ads in specific places, & then to book shows OUTSIDE of your city(respectfully), in THOSE places your music was playing, and where you ran your ads.

-Check in with booking agents REGULARLY
