It’s been one year... and you guys I am so grateful. One full year since meeting the girl who has impacted our lives so much from afar!

We met Mariela a year ago in El Salvador after we started sponsoring her through World Vision USA. Since then we’ve sent letters back and forth, updated each other on our lives, and continued to get pictures from her back home.

Everyone should experience this kind of relationship!! With support from sponsors, every 5 minutes a child learns how to protect themselves and other children from violence, exploitation, and abuse.

We are so close as a community to sponsoring 1000 girls with World Vision (last I checked we are so close!)!! Join the movement to sponsor (or more!!) by October 11, International Day of the Girl, so that she can be free to stay in school, free to build a brighter future, and free to become all God created her to be. Summer pregnancy diaries 🥹❤️ Can’t believe there’s going to be 3 boys running around soon!! Seriously a dream. I love being a boy mom. I never would have expected to be picked to raise 3 boys, but God’s plans for our family has really been above and beyond what I’ve ever expected. We had such a full summer of memories and I feel so deeply grateful. We keep saying that the more kids we’ve had, the more we’ve enjoyed it. We never want our kids to think we have everything figured out. We apologize a lot in our family, and admit when we’ve fallen short. I just really hope they continue to believe the truth that they are loved, accepted, worthy, and secure in our home (and beyond when they leave). If you’ve ever questioned if it’s worth it to have kids, yes 1000%! 🙂‍↔️🥹
