The Old Pantages Theatre, now part of the Downtown Jewelry Exchange, has a storied past since opening in 1920. Designed by B. Marcus Priteca, it began as a vaudeville theatre and was remodeled by Warner Bros. in 1929 to become the Warner Bros. Downtown Theatre, hosting film premieres with stars like Clark Gable and Bette Davis. Today, it is primarily retail space but retains its Beaux Arts and baroque beauty, including this stunning chandelier. ✨

The Eastern Columbia Building stands as a beacon of Art Deco brilliance in DTLA. Completed in 1930, this iconic landmark was originally constructed as a retail building for the Eastern Columbia Outfitting Company. With its striking turquoise terra cotta façade and majestic clock tower, it’s a masterpiece of the Zigzag Moderne architectural style.

Fun fact: The building is also known for being the former residence of actor Johnny Depp. 🕘
