A few scattered showers will pass through Tampa Bay Thursday afternoon. This weekend will feature the first small taste of Autumn with slightly lower temperatures and humidity as dry gets pulled down on the back side of a passing low pressure in the Atlantic.

It was a hot October day in Tampa with a high of 94, almost a record. But the sea breeze kept it a little cooler in Pinellas Co, the high for Clearwater was 88.

5 pm WED Update on Tropical Storm Jerry. A Tropical Storm Watch remains posted for Antiqua, Barbuda, Angilla, St. Kitts, Nevis, Montserrat, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, Sint Maarten, Saba, St Eustatius, and Guadeloupe.

We are forecasting a high of 90 degrees tomorrow in Tampa, but a cold front will bring us down to the 80s for Friday and the weekend. Typically, our last 90 degree day for the season is around this time of year, but last year we saw a high of 91 on November 6th.
