Our hearts are with our neighbors in Roseville and Crooksville as they navigate devastating flooding and its aftermath.

While we continue to learn more about where help is needed, we know many of you are looking for ways to support our neighboring communities. We want to make it easier to find where help is needed and how you can lend a hand.

If your business, organization, or group is currently collecting donations, supplies, or other resources to support those impacted, please share the details in the comments below. We want to help get the word out and connect those who want to give with efforts already underway.

We’ll continue to share information and resources as they become available.

Our neighboring communities need us. Let’s come together and help where we can. 💙

A new boutique recently opened in New Concord. Clarity Cotton Dresses, located at 24 E. Main Street, sells organically handmade dresses made from 100% cotton using natural dyes. The New Concord Area Board of Trade welcomed the new business by hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Zanesville VFW Post 1058 (Zanesville, OH), the Post Commander Kirby Minnich, along with VFW Post 1058 members and officers, presented local Para athlete Paige Calendine with a specially adapted throwing chair for her to use in track events at Maysville High School.

The 16th annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival kicked off yesterday, but there is much more in store for today, Saturday, August 1st, as the festival continues. Be sure to stop by the Campus Center at Zane State College to see all of the amazing artists. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with live music starting at noon.

Ohio Stoneware Factory Outlet is hosting a special Paint Your Own event for pet owners and their canine friends. A Paint Your Own Pet Party will be held on Saturday, August 1st, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the company’s factory outlet building located at 1719 Dearborn Street in Zanesville.

Dresden is preparing for its third large summer event for 2026, the Dresden Melon Festival, scheduled for Saturday, August 1. This all-day celebration, hosted by Friends of the Dresden Parks, honors Dresden’s melon-growing history. 🍉
