At this time, we only have 7 Trunks signed up💔With over 500 children normally in attendance, at least a dozen more trunks are needed to make this a successful event! Individuals, school groups, businesses, church groups..... ALL are Welcome!

LAST DAY for the Lamp Post Decorating is TOMORROW!!! City of Du Quoin

We still have A LOT of lamp posts that can be decorated. Don't miss out on the fun to decorate Main Street! Contact the Du Quoin Water Office to get signed up.

RULES-
1. Stop by the water department to sign up (water department is open M-F from 8am-4pm). You will be given a number to place on your selected lamp post. This number will identify you so you can be judged. NUMBERS ARE READY TO PICK UP AND CLAIM YOUR POLE!!

2. Lantern locations are on a first come first service. No one will have a preference.

3. All Lanterns are to be decorated by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 13th!!!

4. Individuals, Families, Businesses and Organizations are invited to participate. You do not have to be a chamber member to participate!

5. All Lanterns must be decorated and displayed in a Halloween or Fall theme.

6. All decorations must face the Street.

7. Any cruel or vulgar displays will be removed immediately without question.

8. Judging will take place on October 27th and winners will be announced with winner's ribbons on or before October 30th!

PRIZES-
Prizes will be awarded to the winners in a form of a gift certificate, which may be spent at ANY OF OUR Du Quoin Chamber of Commerce BUSINESS MEMBER LOCATIONS.

1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50

There are approximately 50 Lanterns on Main Street. We hope you will participate in this event and make Du Quoin a festive community for Halloween. We thank you for your continued love and support to our beautiful town!
