A milestone has been reached. Awards have now been given to me for a book, film, screenplay, and a poem. All of the forms of writing I have pursued over the past twelve years. As a non-competitive person, I now retire from the world of submitting to festivals. One could say the goal has been reached, except I’m still a million dollars shy of a million dollars, but most writers are. Now on to creating interesting quilts, making it through life with a smile, and continuing to sing and dance up a storm. I'll still help anyone who wants to create a book with Blazing Star Books.

This last award is for the poem "The Blue Buffalo" which was inspired by the dream which became a painting by Patty Sjolin.
