[twirly] I love a good fun outfit that’s practical, and pretty 😍 my main reason is I want to be comfortable to use my treadmill during my days at home while I work. The best part? I can finish my work day and go to my home gym in one beat. And from a sensory standpoint and from a decision fatigue perspective my love for is unmatched.

[let’s get dressed] I mostly work from home but I noticed that I wasn’t getting ready fully because I can’t wear heels yet, or enjoying my insanely fun and colorful closet. So here are a few of my favorite outfits, for work or play and a reminder that getting ready when you’re able boost your mood to deal with the horrors 💓

We had a lovely family brunch and Lucas and I went on an adventure (to the library).

[hanging in there]
The past few weeks have been *difficult* I kept getting hit by different things health wise and my mental health was hit by all of it too. I didn’t feel like myself in any way but kept fighting it: the illnesses, the pain and the need to rest. Friday night and Saturday morning my body said: nope no more. Fast forward to today; first day feeling at least 60% better, still struggling with fatigue but hey at least I can eat.
I share this because I want to remind you that: rest matters, taking care of yourself isn’t selfish and asking for help is hard but necessary.

Being a woman has never been easy, but the ones that came before me made the road less bumpy. I want to do the same. The future is female.

Every time I go back to the city (which it’s not often due to 🦠 and working remotely) I walk everywhere and stop to enjoy the places I love. Today I was showing my nephew around his new city. 🌉
It’s also an awesome outfit.

[ E X T R A ]
Today was a big day in my career. I was invited to be part of a panel of women and discuss how our lives at work are affected by our conditions. We discussed intersectionality and how we use our powers to be good at what we do. It was a big day for me because it put me in a very vulnerable position but also empowering. I shared my story, struggles and wins and I hope it helped other women.
Because it was a big day I wore my new red tulle ♥️ you know, because I’m EXTRA.
