As part of the Fast Company Innovation Festival, Roto and Jamestown hosted a Fast Track event inside One Times Square, giving attendees a private tour of Roto’s newest immersive experience, Times Travel, followed by a conversation about the ideas, collaboration and problem-solving that brought it to life.

Every experience at Times Travel started somewhere a bit smaller than the Big Apple: in our shop, as sketches and prototypes.

Building something for a project this iconic is humbling. Scale is one thing, but a chance to create moments that connect with the community it will live in, and the memories guests will build walking through, provide us with much to reflect on.

We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside the Dollywood team to help share a small part of Dolly Parton’s remarkable story.

Few people embodied genuine human connection quite like Dolly. Through her music, generosity, humor and warmth, she had a way of making people feel seen and bringing people together.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us how much joy, kindness and connection matter.

Roto Summer Party 2026 was epic! Our design studio and production floor doors opened to friends, family, and a serious new crop of Roto littles stealing the show. Building wild, wonderful experiences for a living pairs pretty perfectly with an afternoon of building memories with the people we love most!

The future of museum and experience design comes through Roto’s doors often, we make sure of it!

We had the pleasure of hosting OSU industrial design students for a tour of Roto: our studio, our fabrication floor, the work we’re building right now. Along the way, they heard directly from our team about what we look for in interns and how to get on our radar.
Associate Technologist Mark Boyd put it well: it wasn’t long ago he was in their shoes. Now he’s the one leading the tour. It’s great to see moments like this, and it’s a big reason our doors are always open for students. Here’s to the Rotos we have yet to meet!

Fort Worth has a new place to play! Roto partnered with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History to reimagine the TCU Children’s Gallery — 20+ multisensory exhibits, a 14-foot spaceship, and over 300 students who helped shape the experience before it ever opened. You can sketch a hundred concepts. You can build prototypes and run tests. But nothing tells you an exhibit is working quite like this. Watching kids react to a prototype in real time is the best design tool we have.
Bringing young visitors into our evaluation process isn’t just good design practice — it’s one of our favorite parts of the job.

Roto’s got game! We headed to to test our knowledge and enjoy the scenic views at Quarry Trails! It turns out all the research it takes to build museums around the world gives us some pretty solid trivia skills! Thank you to the Bada team for being wonderful hosts ❤️
