JetBlue is set to strengthen its South Florida operations with the announcement of a new Airbus A220 pilot base at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, scheduled to open in January 2027. The move is part of the airline’s broader strategy to expand capacity, modernize its fleet, and reinforce Fort Lauderdale as a key operational hub.
