The Personality of Dr. Isaiah Onuche Paul: Humble Beginning at a Glance
Dr. Isaiah Onuche Paul (born January 5th, 1984) is a fast-rising Nigerian entrepreneur, investor, author, preacher, and philanthropist. A certified electrician by profession, Dr. Isaiah is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Onus Electrical Nig. Limited, which he established in 2010.
Before this, he served as Technical Director with Grace of God Mission International Headquarters, Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria (2005–2006). His journey in life and career reflects hard work, consistency, and a deep sense of purpose.
From a young age, Isaiah demonstrated a passion for giving and community development — a philanthropic culture that has grown with him over the years.
Entrepreneurial Vision and Achievements
At just 35 years old, Dr. Isaiah signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) worth $17,000 with an established London-based company, VIEWSAT, to actualize his dream of owning a satellite television station IGALA TELEVISION. His vision was to create a global platform for the Igala Kingdom to showcase its rich socio-cultural heritage to the world.
This dream became reality with the launch of Igala Rion TV, a satellite channel that broadcasts across over 75 countries. What makes this achievement remarkable is that it was accomplished from the modest means of an individual deeply committed to the growth and development of Igalaland, Kogi State, and Nigeria at large in contrast to many who have done little despite having greater resources.
Building on this success, Prophet Isaiah signed another MOU with a manufacturer in China to produce Igala Rion TV customized decoders, capable of accessing over 500 free-to-air channels.
Current Engagements
Presently, Dr. Isaiah Onuche Paul (popularly known as Prophet Isaiah) is the Founder, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Igala Rion TV.
He is also the Senior Prophet and General Overseer of Prophet Isaiah Paul Ministries International (a.k.a. Wells of Revival Church Conyers) with incorporated offices at Plot 13, Arab Road, Kubwa, Abuja, Nigeria and Conyers, Georgia, United States.
In addition, he serves as the CEO of Prophet Isaiah Paul Ministries International Foundation, sharing the same address. Both the ministry and foundation were birthed in 2004 and 2012 respectively, with the vision to ignite passion for God among the youth and promote dignity and value for humanity.
*Early Life and Education*
Born on January 5th, 1984, in Ajaka, the headquarters of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Kogi State, Prophet Isaiah Onuche Paul hails from Idah Local Government Area. He was born into the family of the late Mr. Paul and Mrs. Naomi Alami Achimugu (née Egene Obaje) a successful businesswoman from the royal Aju-Aku dynasty. He is the ninth child in a family of eleven siblings (six males and five females).
Prophet Isaiah began his education at Roman Catholic Mission Transfer (RCMT), Ajaka (1988–1995), where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He attended Dickson Memorial College, Idah (1997–2004) where he completed his secondary education as a science student.
After secondary school, he enrolled at JohnBest Hope Technical Training Centre, earning a Certificate of Merit in Electrical Electronics in 2005. His quest for knowledge led him to the Federal Polytechnic Idah (FPI), where he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Electronics (2006–2008).
In his spiritual pursuit, he attended the Dunamis School of Ministry in 2011 and earned a Diploma in Theology (2012). He later enrolled in the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) for a Master of Theology (Online Degree) 2023/2024 Session.
*Spiritual Calling and Impact*
By divine calling, Prophet Isaiah abandoned worldly ambitions to embrace his heavenly mandate a calling that has distinguished him in both ministry and humanitarian service. He is recognized as a covenant of liberation to this generation, a voice of hope to the hopeless, and a vessel through whom countless lives have been delivered, healed, and empowered.
His ministry has become a beacon of revival, bringing light and liberation to individuals and communities across the world.
It is worthy of note to acknowledge the role of Mrs. Elizabeth Itanyi Attaboh (Mama Sabongari), who nurtured him in the fear of God and greatly influenced his early spiritual formation before her passing on February 17th, 2009. May her soul rest in peace.
