Dear Rich & Deena,

Hi guys and good morning. My name is ****, and I’m a long-time listener of the show and have you guys on in my cubicle all morning.

I have a job, and let's just call it that, a job. It’s the second job I’ve had since graduating from college with a marketing degree. Do I love my work? No, but I don’t hate it either. The people I work with are nice, and it pays the bills. I try to focus on my other hobbies and stuff that keep me sane and happy.

One thing I realized about my job is that I’m very good at it. I’ve been told by my bosses that there seems to be no promotion at the end of the line. I work a lot faster than the other coworkers in my department, and that just leads to more work. They just keep giving me more and more to do because I’m faster. So, what’s the motivation? Should I ask for a promotion of some sort? Should I look for another job?

I didn’t know that when you did a good job at work, that just meant they would give you more work, not more money, just more work.

What do you guys think I should do?

Dear Rich & Deena,

Hi guys and good morning. I don’t know if you all saw this poll online that asked if you could steal a million dollars and get away with it, would you? I’m asking because I was on a third date with a guy last night and he said he would steal a million dollars if he could get away with it, and I was taken aback and very turned off.

I would never steal a million dollars even if I could get away with it, because I’m not a thief and I believe in honesty. I thought he was a really good guy until he told me he would steal the money. Now all l can think is how can I trust this person, and is he not the person I thought he was from the first two dates?

He laughed it off and said it’s not a real question, but I think it is, and now I’m wondering if I should stop dating him. Do you think this is a major red flag, or am I overreacting?
