Dear Rich & Deena,

I’ve been divorced for 2 and a half years, and I have no money. I’m poor. Broke is temporary, but poor is long-lasting. I’ve never made much money and I still don’t. I get by, but barely. I don’t spend money on things and I even donate plasma for extra cash.

Here’s the thing. I’m ready to start dating again, and I wonder if it’s going to be a problem. Is it going to affect the way guys look at me because I can’t afford to buy dinner or drinks or go on a weekend trip? Would guys date a woman who has no money?

Dear Rich & Deena

I was at the Dentist yesterday, and they were running late. So I had a time to kill in the waiting area. I started looking through a magazine and found an article with some awesome recipes. I quietly tore it out of the magazine. No harm, right?

Anyway, I saw the Dentist, and when leaving, the receptionist presented the charge, along with the magazine, and pointed out a $4.50 charge for it.

I challenged her, and the receptionist admitted another customer told her I did it. I denied it, and she called me out, demanding I open my purse to reveal the evidence. I refused, but paid for the magazine. But I can’t get over it. I think she’s out of line and I need to talk to her supervisor. Who’s right?
