“The language may be different but the love is all the same,” said Jesse Wang, social media manager for the Chinese Language Learner’s Club (CLLC) and Dewa Santoso, president of the Asian Pacific American Association (APAA).
APAA and CLLC held a collaboration at the Dining Center for the Lunar New Year on Feb. 17. This year is the year of the Fire Horse which represents courage, hard work and a desire for freedom. The Lunar New Year starts Feb. 17, 2026 and ends Feb. 6, 2027. This year is all about rewarding hard work, as well as luck and success. The DC collab featured items such as Jasmine Rice, Tteokbokki, Fried Chicken, Thai Tea and many more delicious items. APAA and the CLLC worked hard to put this collab together a to celebrate the Lunar New Year on campus.
