The gift that keeps on giving…Remember that time we loaded Greg’s with products? They’re not an advertiser but back then brands would just send you stuff for responding with your address, and it’s good stuff so I ate it up; gave them intro credits on Deja Vu. Still packing that same stuff around.

I have a new Chief Marketing Officer who’s getting some work done, so this might actually happen sooner rather than later. My question is: do we still have a community here? Anyone still want BCP apparel? Break the thumb button if YES.

I recently became Taylorcraft-curious. 7 years ago, me and went out on the Knik to film “Swirly Girl” in this 100hp F19. At the time I didn’t really appreciate the old girl like I should have but fast forward to today…I’m suddenly interested. I’ve been looking at old Aeroncas and should probably consider a Tcraft. If anyone knows a F19 or F21 I should look at in the lower 48, please DM me. I need some stick/yoke time. 😎

If you stop by the northern Minnesota BCP HQ on floats or skis, there's a good chance that 2-3 years later I'll publish a 5 minute video about it. Our latest "Salvage Short," shot on a really cold iPhone 14, features Super Cub pilot Jeremy Harmon making tracks in the lake powder...which sits atop fascinating layers of ice.

This is a soundtrack I wrote almost 6 years ago for BackcountryPilot.org’s film, but it’s my first push to streaming services, mostly as an experiment. If you enjoyed the aviation short film “Fool’s Errand” you can now enjoy the soundtrack.
