Lake Superior Fury!

Winter has officially arrived on the North Shore—loud and proud.
Last night’s storm rolled in hard, leaving Split Rock buried in fresh snow. I spent the entire day clearing the site, but managed to wrap up just in time to make it down to the shore for sunset.

As the wind shifted, massive rollers started charging into the bay, exploding into some of the biggest waves I’ve seen this season.

Watching Lake Superior unleash this kind of power was the perfect way to end a long day.
