📣 Dumas Parents! It’s time to sign your kids up for tackle football! 🏈

The Top of Texas Youth Sports League is one of the best around. Games are played on Saturdays in Amarillo and your kids will face teams from all over the area — Bushland, Canyon, Amarillo, Palo Duro, Pampa, and more — the same kids they’ll compete against in junior high and high school.

This is the perfect way to build confidence, skills, and friendships — while preparing them for the future. 💪

👉 We don’t want money to be the reason any kid doesn’t get to play. We have scholarship options available for families who need it. Just reach out — we got you.

Let’s go, Dumas Demons!

We’ve been watching this group of girls grow up on the field for years — from little league to high school championships. They’ve always been something special to Dumas and the whole Texas Panhandle.

This past weekend, we got to see them play together one last time as Savages, right here at home. And of course, they added more championships to their long list of accomplishments.

Now we get one more season to cheer them on as Demonettes before they pass the torch to the next wave of young stars. What a ride it’s been.

This is what community looks like.

I sat down with Jeff Trimble—one of the driving forces behind bringing the Dumas Little League fields back to life. From fixing up the fields to turning them into a top-notch complex, Jeff and a group of hardworking volunteers have poured in time, sweat, and heart.

Now, these fields aren’t just for our kids—they’re bringing in teams from across the region and helping our whole town grow.

Check out the video to hear how it all came together and why it matters so much. Proud of what’s happening right here in Dumas.
