Serious question, Texas.

If we're doing so great...
Why are we:

44th in child well-being?
Worst in America for uninsured children?
Near the bottom in education outcomes?

Who exactly is benefiting from all this "success"?
Because it doesn't look like working families.

What am I missing?

America has a politician problem.

That's why veterans running for office matters.

Congratulations to U.S. Marine Corps veteran Graham Plattner on his victory.
One candidate built his résumé serving his country.

The other built his fighting impeachment, indictments, and ethics investigations.

America needs more leaders who have proven they will put something bigger than themselves first.

Semper Fidelis, Marine.

🔥 DAY ONE: MIKE MORATH IS GONE. 🔥
Ft Worth yall showed up!

Gina Hinojosa just made one of the boldest promises of the Texas Governor's race.

The question isn't whether you like Mike Morath.

The question is:

Are Texas schools better today than they were when he took over?

If your answer is no, why should he keep the job?

Texas kids only get one shot at an education.

What if the biggest lie in America isn't left vs right?

What if it's convincing working people to fight each other while the people at the top keep getting richer?

Whether you agree with Hunter Biden or not, there is one thing he said that hit me:

We probably have more in common with each other than we do with the people making millions off keeping us divided.

Most Americans want the same things:

A good job.
A safe community.
Affordable healthcare.
A good education for their kids.
A chance to own a home.
A fair shot at the American Dream.

Instead, we're told to hate our neighbors because they vote differently.

Maybe it's time to stop asking whether someone is a Democrat or Republican and start asking whether they're fighting for working people.

The American Dream is slipping away from our kids.

We can either keep fighting each other...

Or we can start fighting for each other.

What do you think?

Well, imagine that, the screwworm has reached Texas.

I remember being at the Capitol last year with Jose advocating for veterans while ranchers and agricultural producers were there sounding the alarm and asking for support. They were warning lawmakers about the risks to our livestock industry and rural economy.

Apparently, not enough was done.

Texas families, ranchers, and producers deserve leaders focused on solving real problems before they become crises. Instead of spending time on political stunts and social media attacks like Talarico's, our state's top officials (Abbott and his useless friends) should be focused on protecting our agriculture industry, supporting rural communities, and addressing threats that impact Texans' livelihoods.
