We had such a great shoot today! HUGE thanks to The Roq for allowing us to come make some visual magic!
Katie and Morgan KILLED the dance number! Amy's choreography was top notch (and so was her newfound role of Atomsphere Girl) And Rick was, as always, superhuman grip guy (who does all the crew jobs actually) Smooth shoot that was a lot of fun. I (Holly) did okay running camera and directing I guess lol.

Synopsis
A man tortured by horrible dreams faces off with a nightmarish denizen that is much too close to home.

Dark, intimate, and unsettling, I AM OF YOU explores identity, grief, and the quiet terror that lives just beneath the surface of human connection. What begins as a grounded psychological story slowly descends into something far more disturbing, where the line between self and other dissolves.

The film relies on atmosphere, performance, and creeping dread rather than spectacle, allowing the horror to linger long after the final frame.

I am happy to announce that the short film we created has won the MOTHMAN AWARD for best WV short film at the DEADHEAD PRODUCTIONS HORROR FILM FESTIVAL . I am still so proud of this little film we made. It has done extremely well on the festival circuit, stacking up a bunch of recognition and awards. And I am SO PROUD of our little cast and skeleton crew! The festival is November 1st in St. Albans, WV at The Alban. Not sure what time yet, but once I know you will too! Congrats to all involved!

So the cat (or....Raven in this case) is out of the bag! Chris Ojeda and I have been working on a really unique and special project for Byzantine for the past few months. This music video is for their song "Harbinger" off of their "Harbingers" album. It was a really great new experience working with Adrian Venti, who painstakingly hand sculped it out of clay and photographed each scene. He has the patience that I will never ever have! Super talented guy! I enjoyed editing it to a sequence and beats that fit the song. Then we polished it up and I also animated the introduction sequence. Animating birds into letters was actually a fun challenge! Here's a snippet of the press release:

"Offers vocalist Chris Ojeda on the stop motion clip, “This video has taken months to curate. We wanted to continue our path of handmade original artwork for this new album. My daughter Mallory and I wrote the script for the story, hired a young Claymation artist from Mexico named Adrian Venti to hand build every scene out of clay and brought Holly Grayson with Screaming Butterfly Entertainment (Justinian Code, The Cicada Tree, The Agonies) to edit all the footage to make this beautiful music video about a boy who, after losing his father, searches for his importance in life, only to be lured in by a voracious Wolf who steers the boy down a path of greed and selfishness. The boy is eventually saved by one random act of kindness towards a lone Raven. Ravens never forget."
