A letter of gratitude on this Family Day:
To every bride who cried when she saw her photos,
To every senior who finally saw themselves the way we see them,
To every mama who wanted "just one good family photo,"
To every business owner who trusted us with their brand story,
To every person who chose us when we weren't the cheapest option—
Thank you.
You're the reason we get to do work that feels like purpose, not just a paycheck.
Today, Darlesia's with her family, remembering all the Thanksgivings her mama cooked too much food and loved too hard. Todd's with his people, doing exactly the same thing.
We're in different places, but we're both thinking about the same truth: Family is everything. Time is short. These moments are holy.
That's not just something we say to book sessions. That's the lens we see the world through. That's why we take this work so seriously. That's why we won't compromise on quality or rush through your story.
Because someday - hopefully not soon, but someday - these photos will be all you have left of today. Of how young they looked. Of how everyone laughed. Of how it felt to be together.
We're honored to be the ones preserving these moments for our community.
Wherever you are today, whoever you're with (or missing), whatever your table looks like - we hope you feel surrounded by love.
Happy Thanksgiving from our hearts to yours.
Closed today & tomorrow.
Back to capturing your stories on Monday.
With so much gratitude,
Darlesia & Todd
