There’s something really special about an estate sale

You’re not just walking through someone’s house looking for things to buy. You’re getting this tiny glimpse into who they were through the things they kept, loved, collected, and lived with.

Their dishes. Their Christmas decorations. The books on the shelf. The things tucked away in cabinets for decades.

For a few minutes, you get the privilege of learning a little bit about a person you never even knew.

And maybe taking home something they loved and giving it another chapter. 🥹

That’s why estate sales will always be more than just “shopping” to me
