Mild dry weather for the first day of Spring with clouds moving in from the west ahead of a weak system arriving tonight. Look for isolated to scattered mountain snow showers developing this evening along and north of the I-70 corridor bringing at most a few inches new snow. Look for a stronger storm Friday evening into Sunday morning with better chances for snow.

🌷🐾 Spring is Here! Tips for Keeping Your Pets Safe & Happy 🐾🌷

With warmer weather and longer days, spring is a great time to enjoy the outdoors with your furry friends! Here are some important tips to keep them safe this season:
🌱 Watch Out for Toxic Plants – Lilies, azaleas, and daffodils are beautiful but dangerous for pets! Check your garden before letting them explore.
🐜 Flea & Tick Prevention – Warmer weather means more pests! Make sure your pet is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
🌞 Mind the Heat – Spring temps can rise quickly! Always provide fresh water and avoid hot pavement during walks.
🦴 Spring Cleaning Safety – Many household cleaners are toxic to pets. Keep them out of reach and use pet-safe products when possible.
🚪 Secure Fences & Check ID Tags – Warmer weather means more outdoor fun! Make sure fences are secure and ID tags/microchips are up to date in case of accidental escapes.
🐕 Allergy Awareness – Just like us, pets can have seasonal allergies! Watch for excessive scratching, sneezing, or watery eyes and consult your vet if needed.

Enjoy the season with your pets while keeping them safe! 🌼🐶🐱
