He may get overwhelmed in new environments and with new people, but with reassurance and guidance he is open to living his life to the fullest. He loves his dog friends but benefits well from proper introductions to be able to feel confident. He is looking for a comfy home and plenty of reassurance that he is safe and loved.

Meet Bluey, our longest dog resident, who has been patiently waiting for his forever home since 9/9. 💙 While he may have spent far too long in the shelter, Bluey hasn’t lost his joy—just look at that smile!

Bluey is full of love, goofy charm, and loyalty, and he’s more than ready to trade his kennel for a cozy couch and a family of his own. For the holidays, his biggest wish is simple: a home.

If you’re not able to adopt, you can still help make Bluey’s Christmas brighter by sharing his story, fostering, or donating in his honor. Let’s make sure this is the last Christmas Bluey spends waiting. ✨

Meet Echo — a 1-year-old German Shepherd–Red Heeler mix who’s a total lap dog at heart. She’s affectionate, sensitive, and searching for a calm, loving home that can offer both reassurance and structure.

Echo enjoys her walks, adores snuggle time with her people, and with the right introductions, can even enjoy one-on-one time with a compatible pup. But ultimately, she’d thrive best as the only dog in the home.

Max is a sweet, joyful dog with the softest fur that is hard to resist. He may start out a little shy, but if given time, he will reward you with loyalty, love and a whole lot of joy. Max does well with most dogs but appreciates proper, slow greetings to get to know each other. He would do best in a home who can give him the love and exercise he deserves. He may do well with a furry friend, but prefers his mealtimes managed with space from other animals-Just a boy who prefers to enjoy his meals alone.

Durango: Toy Drive, 11 AM–3 PM in front of Walmart in Durango. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy and be part of a community tradition of giving.

Farmington: Toys for Tots, 9 AM–4 PM at Ziems Ford in Farmington. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and help us fill the truck for local families.
