Marietta FFA Welders Rodeo‼️
There were 31 teams and Durant Team #1 was 10th overall‼️
This is a competition that is scored on blueprint drawings, safety test, tool id test and project completion. Nothing is premade ahead of time and these students must start from scratch in constructing the project. They had 6 hours to build it and they all worked hard and got it done! We are so proud of how they performed and worked as a team‼️
Hunter Roberts also won 3rd place overall in the head to head torch cutting race‼️

This week started off busy and we haven’t stopped yet‼️ Tuesday we had our FFA Prize Party‼️ This was exclusively for all members that sold over $1,000 worth of Blue & Gold , DJ’s Products this fall💥
We had 36 members that’s answered that challenge and were rewarded with the party where many great items were won‼️
We then celebrated Thanksgiving as a chapter where many family recipes and food items were brought and time was well spent with one another‼️
Thank you to everyone who buys products from our FFA chapter, the parents and supporters that help get it delivered‼️Also thanks to all the families that brought food to make sure our thanksgiving was a success ‼️

SE Area sporting clays in Broken Bow! These kids did a great job today! Things didn’t go the way we wanted as far as qualifying for state but they have been a blast to work with and watch grow!

Durant FFA is selling a CM skirted flatbed that was built by Durant FFA ag mechanics classes. We received the kit from CM truck-beds and welded together in the ag shop. 💥
It is powder coated,has all new LED lights, 4 side tool boxes. Fits a dually pickup and measurements are in the pictures. Call Mr. Adams at the office 580-916-7124 for more information! $5,500.00 💥

National FFA Convention is in the books! We had a great time with this group this week! We spent one day touring Indiana and Illinois where students saw first hand an operating dairy and pig farm at Fair Oaks Farms!

During Session 2 we were recognized on stage for being a National 3 Star FFA Chapter thanks to our amazing students that work hard every day all year long!
