💜 Big News 💜 Stay Prayed Up will have its Public Broadcasting Premiere April 11th on as part of Reel South Season 8!

This season, is back with a new look at the inspiring stories from across the American South including the mighty story of Lena Mae Perry. Hear the gospel of 83-year-old Mother Perry and her legendary music group The Branchettes in “Stay Prayed Up” on next month. We are honored to be in the company of so many moving documentaries featured this season. 🎥👏🎉And, stay tuned because there will be a few ways you can join the Reel South conversation with Lena Mae Perry and filmmakers DL Anderson + Matt Durning before the premiere!

12 cities in 16 days 🎉🙌 We are honored to announce that STAY PRAYED UP is a part of ✨2022-2023 Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers!✨

This long-running South Arts program connects US-based documentary filmmakers with communities throughout the South for screenings and conversations around important stories and the art of filmmaking. This season, the Southern Circuit returns to the exclusively in-person touring format after two years of online screenings and conversations. Lena Mae Perry, Angela Kent of The Branchettes, Producer Lena C. Perry, Producer Phil Cook, and Directors Matt Durning & DL Anderson will be in attendance at multiple screenings throughout the South from Kentucky to Georgia to Florida!
