I was so excited to spot this on the Neuse River Greenway! 🦉

Barred owls are mostly active at night, so it was exciting to see this one during the day.

They’re known for their “Who cooks for you?” call and love wooded areas near rivers and wetlands.

Barred owls have also spread into the Pacific Northwest, where they compete with threatened spotted owls.

Wildlife officials are even considering removing some barred owls to help protect Spotted owls, a difficult and controversial conservation issue.

How do you feel about removing barred owls from the wild to protect spotted owls?

I tested out a full LOJEL carry-on packing setup to see if I could pack enough for 5 days in one small carry-on. (Gifted)

I knew he played guitar, but I didn’t realize how many instruments he could actually play until seeing him live.

Did you know BRUNO MARS is a multi-instrumentalist?

He has been playing multiple instruments since he was a kid.

Growing up in a musical family in Hawaii, he was constantly surrounded by live performance, and as a teenager, he began teaching himself guitar, bass, piano, and drums.

When he plays live, you’ll hear technique like quick hammer-ons, smooth melodic phrasing, and rhythmic groove playing that comes straight out of funk and rock traditions.

You can also hear the influence of legends like Jimi Hendrix.
When you watch Bruno Mars, you’re watching a multi-instrumentalist who’s been honing his craft for decades.🎸

BRUNO MARS & THE HOOLIGANS are incredible together.

They were literally dancing and moving back and forth across the stage, carrying guitars and brass instruments in sync.

Seriously wondering how hard is it to dance, move, and play your trombone for 2 hours straight? Someone, please tell me.

This clip from “Something Serious” really shows how much talent goes into the performance.🎶🔥
