The City of Durham is moving forward with plans for the Central Durham Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) — a faster, more reliable high capacity bus system with dedicated lanes.

The proposed 7 mile stretch of Durham’s BRT will span Duke University, Duke Hospital and VA Medical Center, Ninth Street District, downtown Durham, and the Wellons Village area.

The community is asked to provide input on routes and bus stops at https://www.durhamnc.gov/5395/Central-Durham-Bus-Rapid-Transit-Project.
