I spent some much-needed time in the studio, immersing myself in creativity and expression. It was a refreshing escape from daily routine and damp mood Ive been in, allowing me to focus solely on my craft. The environment fostered inspiration, and I felt my ideas come to life with each stroke and detail. This dedicated time rejuvenated my passion and sharpened my skills. Ultimately, it reminded me of the importance of carving out time for artistic pursuits, fueling my motivation and deepening my connection to my art.

On this Soulful Sunday i am reminded that the beauty of life lies in its surprises. Those moments that catch us off guard and fill our hearts with wonder. Making a new friend, helping a stranger, a wonderful conversation with that angel on the corner. These unexpected events shape our growth and deepen our appreciation for magic in this existence. Life’s surprises remind us to stay open-minded and hopeful when embracing uncertainty as part of the journey. Surprises bring a freshness and spontaneity to everyday routines, making each day unique and meaningful, highlighting that the true magic of life is found in its unpredictably.
I’m going out here in these southern streets and be open to the wonderful surprises that the day has in store for me.

Good morning beautiful people. It’s ‘Talk to me’ Tuesday and i have a question.
My current main character Jade is in a relationship with a man who needs to make her dependent on him. I was having difficulty with this and was told by a writer friend, Beth, to look up Manslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to figure out what her needs were, and have the man meet them.
Which got me to thinking 🤔….
In a romantic relationship what are your needs? What is your love language? If your partner doesn’t meet your needs, what do you do? Do you talk to them about it or do you figure that this just isn’t who they are and cut your losses?
My love language is Words of affirmation, physical touch and gifts.
In other words, if you tell me I'm beautiful, give me a kiss and place a bejeweled tiara on my head that you made for me❤️, we are good🤣😂.
