Norfolk Southern is implementing at 25 mph speed restriction between Charlotte & Raleigh todayy between 2-8 pm due to escessive heat. Here are the following Amtrak changes for Friday because of this.

Amtrak 71, 72, 73, 79, 80 will run as scheduled.

Amtrak 74, 75, 76, 77 will be canceled with alternative transportation being provided.
