It was great to be able to make some more progress on the Boomer Hess project.
Sally Lynne Mitchell on piano, Maia Hollander-Leisti on cello. Boomer added a nice guitar solo at the end.

Big thanks to Jane Pattinson for putting the Main Street stage and sound together. Michael Smith and his crew for going the extra mile and adding the drum stage. Ryan McClune (Tolt Records) for mad audio engineering and digital board skills, and to my intern Kaleb Muniz-Bane for staying late to help with the tons of cables.
And to Morgan Henley for putting together an extraordinary event and Travis Wetherbee (Last Lite Photography) for capturing it all!

Happy to have finished mastering a project and even happier that my masters were chosen over what the Izotope tool did. I do work hard on this and take my time. I also take input from my client. Okay, party over. Back to work!

I don't know what I enjoy more: setting up a session or tearing it down. They are such opposite feelings. Setting up you are executing on a plan and have some adrenaline whereas the teardown is calm and peaceful.
