Huge SHOUT OUT to Carey Hart for showing his daughter Willow the proper way to handle a gun! Just because you dont hunt, doesnt mean you cant learn about fi****ms. Education is key, knowledge is powerful. Way to go Carey!

Haven’t poked the parent police bear in a few days. Willz and I shooting the 22 rifle. She is getting pretty good. Can hit a 12 inch pie plate from 30 yards. Started her shooting at 3yrs old. For the record non of us hunt, just enjoy shooting for sport. I’m raising the kids with knowledge of fire arms, how to handle them, shoot them, store them, and avoid them in uneducated hands.

And he's up! Been waiting to hang this guy for awhile! We have had it for about 6 years and I have never had a place that I have really wanted it until moving here! It's the perfect addition to our room! Now, before you ask, no we didn't shoot this one. It came from a friend, was bleached and cleaned by: Chelsie Wilkey and hangs on the wall with a Skull Ho**er. I couldnt be more excited!

What an awesome day! Went out pheasant hunting with some amazing women! I love when my ladies crew gets together and we smash it!! I havent seen most of these ladies in a long time and it is always great to get together! I was able to take my first pheasants, ever, and learn so much!! I cant wait to get back out there!

Christmas was one for the books!! I am so lucky that got me just what I wanted!! M2 will be going to good use! After shooting my swan I have been wanting to get back out. Gotta get some practice in and put some birds in my freezer!

So grateful that I am ab and e to eat this for dinner tonight and so grateful for the guys who took me out! and
Since bringing this amazing swan home, I did some research on what I was doing wrong. That post will be coming soon.

Today I had an amazing experience! I got out and shot my first swan! We met up with some awesome guys, and , and thought we were going to be in for a rainy/ snowy day. We were lucky enough to get decent weather! Now i'm not an amazing shot with a shotgun, but with these guys and with me, we got it done and I couldn't have gotten it done without them!! I learned so much on this trip, and am so grateful for this experience!

Tonight I had the opportunity to harvest a beautiful cow elk! I got to do this with and explain the process to Ronin. His words to me tonight were, "Mom, I am so proud of you for putting meat in our freezer!" I couldn't be happier!

Such a great night with 2 of my boys at the Yeti Tundra Films! Amazing productions that now have Ronin wanting to Duck Hunt!
