Open to all aged 18-34 from the Eagle Pass, Tx community.

On Saturday, December 6th, the children of pre-communion had their advent retreat. "Advent" means "coming" or "arrival". It's a time to get our hearts ready for Jesus, just like waiting for a special guest. Remembering He came as a baby and waiting for Him to return, focusing on Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy through prayer, kindness, and traditions like the Advent Wreath with its candles for each theme.

In our Journey of Spirirual Preparation for our Lord Jesus Christ, let us examine ourself with the truths of our brokeness and with a burning drive, desire and hunger to become BETTER. To bring forth with God's Grace, the best version of ourselves. Let us use Mary as Holy Queen of the angels, John the Baptist as the greatest of Prophets and finish with the King of the Universe- our redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ. A focus on gaining a true and REAL Spirituality-as Priests, Prohets and Kings--- this season! Si se Puede!!!

Advent is a special spiritual period of preparation for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We open our hearts via Prayer, Fasting, Meditation and Reflection and Repentance in alignment with Anticipation, Hope and Joy. An insight to the parable of the Talents which Jesus gives to three men will illuminate our Journey of transformation this Advent. We remind ourselves on our journey of Transformation that Everything that the Father has is already ours and that we have the forces and graces of Baptism. You are a Priest, a Prophet and a King. Know it and be it!

Acción de Gracias No es solo una fecha o una mesa completa.

Es un momento para recordar lo que hemos vivido, lo que hemos perdido, lo que hemos sanado y lo que aún seguimos construyendo.

Es para estar agradecido por la gracia y la misericordia de Dios.

-—Agradecidos por la familia, la de sangre y la que elegimos- y aprender a valorar lo simple: un abrazo, una llamada, un aliento, una oportunidad.

Hoy damos gracias, no por tenerlo todo, sino por avanzar con Dios.

Estas lecciones hablan de Jesus como "Profeta, Rey y Sacerdote" para abrir nuestros ojos a una gran verdad! Preparate para Adviento dando gracias y declarando "!VIVA CRISTO REY!"
