#SHOCKING: Elderly Man Assaulted After Accidentally Running Over Dog in Piedras Negras
PIEDRAS NEGRAS, COAH. – An 83-year-old man was physically assaulted after accidentally running over a dog in the downtown area of Piedras Negras. The incident occurred at the intersection of Guerrero and Hidalgo Streets, where bystanders intervened to call emergency services after witnessing the violent confrontation.
According to reports, the elderly driver was behind the wheel of a white Ford F-150 when the dog ran out of a residence and into the street. The owner of the dog, a man of approximately 40 years of age, reacted with excessive aggression, verbally attacking the senior and punching him twice in the face, causing a bleeding injury, according to sources.
Despite the injuries, the elderly driver remained at the scene, expressing willingness to take responsibility for the accident. However, the younger, much larger assailant continued to shout insults and demand identification papers from the injured senior.
Witnesses, shocked by the disproportionate reaction, called the police through social media to prevent further violence. When officers arrived, they arrested the aggressor, while paramedics provided medical attention to the elderly man.
Authorities are now handling the case, reminding the public that disputes should be resolved peacefully and that resorting to violence will result in legal consequences.

WATCH: High-Speed Chase from Carrizo Springs Ends in Eagle Pass with Woman’s Arrest
EAGLE PASS, TX – A woman who claimed to be from Monclova, Coahuila, but residing in Dallas, Texas, was arrested early Friday morning after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase from Dimmit County to the outskirts of Maverick County.
Authorities in Carrizo Springs initiated the pursuit and alerted law enforcement in Maverick County around 1:00 a.m. Deputies, along with constables and other local officers, responded to assist in stopping the fleeing vehicle on U.S. Highway 277.
The suspect, who was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche, ignored multiple commands from officers to pull over. According to Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber, once the vehicle crossed into Maverick County, deputies successfully intercepted it. The woman was then taken into custody by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers.
During a search of the vehicle, authorities discovered a bag of marijuana in the woman’s possession, which was confiscated. She now faces multiple charges, including evading arrest with a vehicle.
Law enforcement officials have not released the woman’s identity as the case remains under investigation.
