Babaux and the Peacemakers celebrated via live performance last Sunday November 16, 2025 at the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO. The band supported the JJ Cale tribute band consisting of the former rhythm section of the Peacemakers, Alana and Niek Velvis.

Colorado Independent Artists Babaux and the Peacemakers Drive to #1 on National Music Charts

EAGLE, CO – October 10, 2025 – Colorado-based independent group Babaux and the Peacemakers has officially topped the charts, capturing the #1 position in the nation with their new album, Keep Both Hands on the Wheel. According to the influential Roots Music Report, the album is currently the #1 Roots Rock Album and the #1 Rock Album in the USA.

The success doesn't stop there. The album's first single, "Wildflower," has also blossomed into a national hit, simultaneously reaching the #1 spot on both the USA Roots Rock and Rock song charts. Adding to the national accolades, Keep Both Hands on the Wheel has also been declared the #1 album overall in the band's home state of Colorado.

This wave of success is a monumental achievement for an independent act, underscoring a powerful connection with radio DJs and listeners across the country.
