Study: "Emotion and Memory: A Recognition Advantage for Positive and Negative Words".
It is a well-established fact that we are more likely to remember information that is emotionally significant. Emotions play a crucial role in our memory formation and retention processes. When we encounter emotionally charged events or information, they tend to leave a lasting impact on our memory.
Study shows that emotionally positive and negative words were better remembered compared to neutral words. Emotionally significant stimuli had a recognition advantage, indicating the influence of emotion on memory.
