We are so excited to announce our next Read Furiously project: I Blame Television: Essays on the Pop Culture that Raised, Ruined, and Enraptured Me by Elizabeth T***s. I Blame Television examines the cultural conversations behind nostalgia, fashion, and comedy. This collection is a follow-up to Elizabeth's first book with Read Furiously entitled Isn't She Great: Writers on Women-Led Comedies from 9 to 5 to Booksmart, an anthology of smart, funny, and thought-provoking essays where Elizabeth T***s served as editor.

As the year draws to a close, we wanted to celebrate the class of 2025 one more time. In our tenth year as a publishing house, we:

📚 Added two new titles to our bestselling One 'n Done series - Tales from the Scrapyard by Nicole Zamlout & The Heart Decided to Move by Melanie Bell. Both of these titles continued the tradition of the series: incredible stories of epic proportions filled with heart, humor, and universal stories wrapped up in a pocket-sized package. Tales is a fantasy story while Heart is a memoir, but both incorporate mixed media poetry in a way that reinvents the quest for self.

📚 Brought Samantha Mann's newest work, D**e Delusions: Essays & Observations, into the world. This is our 3rd collaboration with Sam Mann and to publish it within our 10th year was a gift and a privilege. It's a beautiful collection of essays centering the body, gender, queerness, and sexuality. The essays mix personal story and research in that signature style that made us love Samantha Mann's work that very first title ago (Putting Out: Essays on Otherness).

📚 Closed out our Life in the Garden State trilogy with Disco Fries & Scenic Drives. It's a bittersweet moment for us, but we're proud to have gotten this far celebrating our home state and all of its talent. We were able to bring in earlier contributors and brand new ones, creating yet another fantastic view of New Jersey.

Thank you to everyone who supported us, supported our authors, bought books, read books, talked about our books, and simply celebrated the community magic that accompanies books and reading.

We hope to continue to bring this magic into 2026. From all of us at Read Furiously, we wish you a safe, happy new year filled with great reads!

As our first Read Furiously Day ends, we wanted to extend our thanks once again to everyone who makes this possible. Thank you to everyone - authors, booksellers and bookstores, Furious Readers, makers/artists, creatives, the indie publishing community - who are on this journey with us. A special thanks to the Read Furiously team for their tireless work in putting this day together and every day they spend bringing stories to the world. Another special thanks to our authors and community partners who have lifted us up throughout the years. May the next ten years bring us more adventures!
