This is a tough post to make.
Due to economic and environmental circumstance, I am closing Toad Hall and relocating.
I have been here for thirty five years and enjoyed doing all of this. There are so many astounding memories. This was the creative melting pot for The Unusual Suspects, The Toad Hall session gang (Greg Sullivan, Peter Zolli, Keith Prescott, Charlie Kent, and myself.) I count myself as blessed to have been part of such an incredibly creative environment.
Toad Hall was both studio and rehearsal space. This was where I learned to love Hipbone, The Numbskulls, Bob Jordan, Bret Hart, Ed Barnett, Michael Thibodeau, Dave Nader, Dan Chauvin, The Balls, Steve Mossberg, Mr. Natural and The Selections, Deborah Beaudry, The Spoilers, White Knuckle Sobriety, Snakes & Ladders, Slitstitch, Hoodrat, Better Friends Than Lovers, Buck and The Swashchucklers, The Kids at The Back of The Bus, Julian Russell, Kismet, Charlie Kent, Bodice Ripper, Greg Wright, Kevin James Siddle, Musclecah, Bottlefight, Steve Snuffer, Joe Brunetti, Muss, Monique Wilkins, Beyond Reach, and many, many more.
Made a lotta recordings.
So I am moving. I intend to keep recording, although on a much smaller scale.
Special shout out to Greg Sullivan, the finest of men, an incredible musician and who has given so much to this. Another shout out to Peter Zolli who partnered with me, who taught me so much about music, and my other brother in spirit. Two folks that I love to work with.
Final shout out to my partner Pamela Sheena Tiger, for making music with me, having faith in me and assisting me in my exit strategy. She helps me know what is truly important.
Thank you and bless all of you who made this space a wonderful and beautiful thing.

It was purely by circumstance that I bumped into Joe's daughter, Monika, at OSJL. I didn't know he had passed away. He recorded at Toad Hall in 1994. He helped give my son a Christmas. I sold him my Tascam 80/8 tape machine (which was bullet proof and I hope he used it often.) At one point he was considered for for the band Narcotic Effect (we needed a Davy/George.) Joe was a lovely guy who really dug Ovation electric guitars and got a nice sound out of them. We lost touch after I sold him the tape recorder and I am sad that he passed away.
Peace, Steve.
